Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal data.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Iris Property Group Limited ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10598059). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at info@irispropertygroup.co.uk.

2. The information we collect

When you make an enquiry through our website or by email, we may collect:

  • your name, email address and phone number;
  • details about your land, such as its location or postcode, approximate acreage, ownership status and whether there is a grid connection nearby;
  • your preferred outcome (lease or sale) and any message you send us.

Our hosting provider also automatically records standard technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, in server logs for security and reliability.

3. How and why we use it

We use your information to:

  • respond to your enquiry and provide you with information and advice;
  • assess and promote your land, and act for you in arranging a lease or sale;
  • communicate with you about your enquiry and our services;
  • keep records and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Our lawful bases

We rely on your consent (which you give by ticking the consent box when you submit an enquiry, and which you can withdraw at any time) and on our legitimate interests in responding to your enquiry and running our business. Where we enter into an agreement with you, we also process data to perform that contract.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:

  • service providers who help us run the website and deliver enquiry messages to us (our enquiry form is processed by FormSubmit, which forwards your submission to our inbox), and our email and IT providers;
  • renewable energy developers and investors, where this is necessary to promote your land, and only as part of providing the service you have asked us to;
  • our professional advisers, such as solicitors and accountants;
  • authorities or regulators where we are required to by law.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we take steps to ensure your data is protected by appropriate safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your personal data for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting relationship, and to meet our legal obligations, after which it is securely deleted.

7. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We load fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google may receive a record of the request when your browser loads the page. If we add analytics or other cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email info@irispropertygroup.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
